Lunar New Year

This year, February 2th is the Chinese New Year.

In recent years, it has become easier to take days off,
The number of places where the New Year is celebrated on the new calendar is increasing,
still in my relative's house
We make offerings for the New Year of the lunar calendar.

in the feast you offer
Tempura is always there (^ ^) ノ

At this tempura shop,

"Please feel free"
There is a word "Worcester sauce" (^ ^)
Sauce for tempura!but
It's a staple of Uchinanchu (・∇・)

Okinawan tempura, which has a thick batter,
The sauce goes well with it♪

During the Lunar New Year, offering a feast to the Buddhist altar,
Some houses burn uchikabi (money from the afterlife).

The day before Lunar New Year
Say "Tusinuur" (night of the year),
We also make offerings to Hinukan (the god of fire) in the kitchen.

The things you offer to Hinukan are:

"Ubuk"
"Uchanuk"
"Fuchagi"

There is something like
I use different items depending on the occasion.
I don't know what to say with just words...
For the time being, it's all food (^ ^)

Ubuku → 3 small bowls of rice
Uchanuk → 3 layers of rice cakes x 3
Fuchagi → Mochi with red beans attached x odd number

This is Uchinanchu
There are few people who can say events and names smoothly (* ^^ *)
